We almost got an offer accepted on a place we thought we loved. But once it almost became a reality, my partner and I had second thoughts, feeling a range of emotions that we couldn't figure out where it was coming from at the time. We spoke to them about how we were feeling, they listened, gave honest feedback, and in the end, we felt validated and confident that they were looking out for what was best for us. If it wasn't for their expertise and strategic thinking, I strongly believe we wouldn't have ended up with the place we love. Buying a home in LA at this time was hell. When we finally found the place we wanted, we were in constant communication, going back and forth discussing options and alternate avenues. Laura and I's journey of house hunting was just beginning and finding the right realtor goes a long way. I actually met Michelle and Nicole through a friend who had recently gone with them. Right off the bat via phone call, Michelle and Nicole made us feel welcomed, "not alone" in this house searching, and spoke to us in layman's terms when it comes to the vocabulary. Once we found our dream home, Michelle and Nicole were very quick to respond and walked us through the process of purchasing a home. Again, I felt like I could talk to Michelle and Nicole without being ridiculed when asking a question. I was able to understand the whole process effortlessly. Michelle and Nicole are the best in the game! They listed the benefits and shortcomings of the homes we looked at. They are VERY informative and have tons of knowledge. I would say the transaction was effortless only if you have the right realtor(s) and/or loan officer. But most importantly, do your own research! We already knew the type of home we wanted, what to look out for, and knowing extra costs of closing a home. It should come as no surprise. But going back to the closing process, there was no hiccup or major obstacles. We actually closed early due to having everything completed on time. "I have known Nicole and Michelle since we were old neighbors and saw that they represented our other neighbors in the community as they sold their homes. As neighbors, they were always nice to us and when it was time for us to start looking, I reached out to them and discussed our short and long-term goals. I didn't have the best experience with my last realtor and this experience further proved they'll be my realtors forever! Before searching for homes, they suggested I reach out to the lender they knew that'd be able to help me sort a few things out and get an idea of how I could finance a new home while retaining and renting out our current home. Any realtor can negotiate, but I really value realtors who have a good network of trustworthy, friendly connections for any house-related matters. I was upfront with them in that we weren't in a rush to settle on a home and they understood the challenge and were not pushy at all. 2-3 months into the open house searches (we've been looking online longer), we found the ideal home and things were set in motion. They negotiated, pushed the sellers to fix issues found during 2 inspections, and made countless trips to the home to make sure things were in order. They kept me updated throughout the day through text. Since there are two sisters working together I felt like I really had 2 realtors for the price of 1! We're able to close escrow in less than 3 weeks! Even though this may be our long-term home, hopefully, it's not the last time I'll be working with them."
